Blue Heron Gallery & Gifts

Just winding up its 13th year in Ashland, Blue Heron Gallery & Gifts represents more than 70 studios with an eclectic mix of style, decoration and function in glass, pottery, paper, jewelry, wood, clocks, sculpture, paintings, photographs, etchings and reproductions.

While most people do remember we have exciting and dramatic art pieces, they sometimes forget that the last word in our name is "Gifts." There are certainly a lot of exciting gizmos and gadgets to be had in today's marketplace, but few MP3 players or flat screen TVs will have the lasting impression in the heart that a fine hand-crafted piece of art can have.

And if price is your concern, we have more than 900 hand-crafted treasures for considerably less than an Ipod Nano, and we'll gift wrap every one of them for free!Photo: Doug Roy Cut Paper Nativity

Mistwood Studio Gallery

Mistwood Studio Gallery features a new painting by Kathleen Boyle Magnuson, done with acrylic paint on masonite board. Many layers of subtle shades in blue predominate in this scene of Mt. Shasta.

A recurring theme for Kathleen, The mountain exemplifies the beauty and mystery of nature. Four young animals native to the region, the red fox, cougar, black bear and deer gather during a serene December evening to celebrate the Winter Solstice.

There is an implied story and symbolism in most of Kathleen's work, which is open to personal interpretation and often evokes diverse responses.

Come and view drawings, paintings and prints as well as Christmas cards of 'A Winter Gathering'. Also, Mistwood proudly displays jewelry by Ed Chambers and sculpture by Liza Reibel.

Art & Soul Gallery

Art & Soul kicks off the holiday season with a show of miniatures featuring the gallery artists. The miniatures range from 3"x 5"to approximately 10" x 15" making the perfect gift for someone special.
