Hanson Howard Gallery

Guy Pederson has returned to his studio after an eight year hiatus in the corporate world and we are very pleased to welcome him back. Although he continued to use his creative abilities during those years, his real passion lies in the privacy of his studio where he can experiment with various media and explore new ideas. His past work includes a mastery of watercolor painting, printmaking, encaustic and photography, all executed with his own unique sense of composition.

This exhibition in a sense “takes up where he left off”. He has combined the more familiar figurative monotypes with the energetically drawn pastel figures that we saw in 1997. The juxtaposition of figures, chairs and background offer an abstraction in vivid colors.
