First Friday Art Walk – May 6th, 5–8 pm

369 Up

The gallery upstairs is always alive with new and inspirational works of art, from glasswork to oils and the modern realm of digital prints. Combine vivid art with a wonderful open gallery space and a gracious group of artists, and you have one of the most popular galleries in Ashland.

These award-winning artists express their diversity and flexibility while capturing the real, not so real and unique.

Here you will discover brilliant still life images and photographs of vibrant flowers, explorations of movie stars and a world of imaginary creatures, plus grounding black-and-white photographs of serine nature settings and the beady eyes of a
lioness. Not to mention some enchanting plates and lamps.

There is always something new at 369 Up!

Mistwood Studio Gallery

Small, light-filled Mistwood Studio/Gallery overlooks the plaza and entrance to Lithia Park.
Scenes of both are included in the Mistwood collection. The gallery offers a wide choice of paintings and drawings, prints and cards by Kathleen Boyle Magnuson. Her work ranges from realistic depictions of nature incorporating ethereal colors and mystical subject matter, to free-flowing images emerging from years of meditation. Water, moon, trees, connecting form through line and the play of light are recurrent themes.

Kathleen has been exhibiting in galleries and shows since 1977. Her work is housed in public and private collections internationally. With the opening of Mistwood, Kathleen and her husband, Arvid, brought the art business 'Visions From Mistwood' from the mountains of Northern California to Ashland.
