Hanson Howard Gallery
Dear Claire,
I remember the opening reception for Lithia Creek Arts twenty-five
years ago when you walked into the crowded room with a very large
clam shell on your head. I knew right away that you were my kinda
woman. After seeing more of your creative endeavors, mostly ceramic
sculpture, I invited you to join our emerging family of artists
at Hanson Howard Gallery and we still enjoy your wonderful sense
of whimsy.
As we developed the gallery's "character" over the years, our intention
has been to maintain a balance by presenting art that ignites various emotional
responses; amusement being a key ingredient just like the orange juice in our gallery punch.
Many of our artists have national reputations and
we're proud to have been a part of their success.
We appreciate our patrons; many have become loyal friends and collectors who continue
to support the arts in Ashland.
Please join me for the November Show with your current work,
"The Tale of Brahmachichachick", ceramic sculpture and accompanying book.
I'll provide some nostalgia for our 25th birthday celebration.
Artfully yours,
Judy Hanson Howard
