Bead Studio
More Than Just Beads

The art of beading and wirework usually falls under the craft category, which has developed further credibility and sophistication over the past few years. Furthermore, arts and crafts are no longer separate, but have fused together to create new art forms and the rebirth of old favorites. In the past ten years the Bead Studio has been fortunate to ride this wave of evolution and creativity.

At the Bead Studio, we provide both resources and products to inspire our customer’s creativity. Experienced bead and wirework artists can find a rich selection of beads and hard-to-find items, while beginners can gather ideas and learn skills from our project samples, classes, publications, and experienced staff. “Like any craft, it’s important to educate beaders of all levels so they continue to have fun and feel satisfied,” says Pam Landell, store owner.

“We love to help people explore their creative talents through beading and wirework along with newer art forms such as assemblage, which combines many art forms. For example, assemblage allows people with previous craft skills like collage, stamping, knitting, or painting to combine them with beading and/or wirework so they can add to their creative talents vs. replacing them,” says Lynn Kambury, store manager.

Join us this month as we celebrate our customer’s talents with our 3rd Annual Beaders Challenge Contest and our Open House on Saturday, 13th. We offer our products and services everyday at our store from 10:00am to 7:00pm, and 24 hours a day on our website.
