The desire for beautiful objects is one that is shared with our earliest ancestors. Although you may not need your jewelry to last that long, Teresa and Monte Fraser know that each piece of jewelry should be unique to its owner.

Teresa is a Graduate Gemologist with 20 years of jewelry experience, first with a major retailer and now as business owner. Monte’s attention to detail made him jeweler for The Jewelry Studio & Art Gallery.

With the desire for incredible works of art to adorn our bodies, we search for rings, earrings and necklaces that express our personalities. While many have the desire to just walk in a store and purchase these items, there are individuals who like to own jewelry that was created just for them.

Teresa and Monte, realizing that each person has unique needs, start the design process in the initial meeting, with a client expressing what they visualize for their custom piece. The next step is realistic renderings drawn to scale, frequently as small as one inch square, detailed to show exactly how the finished item will look. It is an important step in visualizing the finished form.

The Jewelry Studio & Art Gallery has had many years of fascination with shape, form, dimension and structure. This fascination affects each search for a colored stone or diamond; the wax carving, molding and casting of precious metals. The circle is complete when the last stone is set and Teresa and Monte present the commissioned jewelry to a pleased customer.

Teresa and Monte care about their customers by proudly standing behind their work, as well as designers that they represent, by offering quality merchandise at a fair price. The studio offers customer services, including repairs of silver, gold and platinum, inlay, pearl stringing and appraisals.

Jack Hardesty, Ashland resident and former gallery owner, is curator of the art gallery at the Jewelry Studio & Art Gallery. Jack has planned many great shows for the coming year with openings for First Friday Art Walks and other exciting events.
Gallery 369Up is a group of regional artists with a permanent space to show their work. As the name indicates, 369UP is located upstairs.

Teresa and Monte encourage you to come in as a customer and leave as a friend.
